Notifications to residents when scheme document uploaded

What is your challenge?

At the moment, when a Scheme Document is uploaded and set to be visible to residents, no notification is sent out.

It would be helpful if a notification was automatically sent when the ‘shared’ option is enabled, so residents know a new document is available on their portal. This would save customers from having to manually inform residents, often by sending separate emails, which can be difficult as there’s no easy way to get all email addresses for bulk messaging through clixifix®. Also, residents aren’t notified when a plot document is uploaded. If possible, a notification should be sent when the ‘private’ option is unticked for these documents as well.

How does this impact you?

Currently, residents aren’t automatically notified when a document is uploaded, so users have to manually inform them.
